Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya โ The Municipality of Aritao conducted the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) - Ugnayan sa Barangay, in Barangay Calitlitan, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
This Program, in partnership with the DILG, aims to strengthen government-community collaboration by bringing the Municipal Government of Aritao closer to the people. This is through direct engagement, service delivery, and participatory development planning.
The program was spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), anchored on Executive Order No. 70 and DILG MC No. 2023 - 046 which institutionalize the Whole-of-Nation Approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace, in partnership with various national government agencies.
The activity was facilitated by the DILG Field Office of Aritao, headed by Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Chrizza Mae P. Amador-Constantino, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Aritao, headed by Hon. Remelina Peros-Galam, M.D., together with concerned heads of offices.
The engagement was held with the assistance of Hon. John Gamboa, Punong Barangay of Calitlitan, in coordination with barangay officials and community stakeholders.
During the activity, different sectors including the religious sector, women, youth, senior citizens, farmers, Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA), and the business sector actively participated by sharing their respective concerns, and identifying possible solutions to address community issues and development gaps.
The initiative also highlighted multi-sectoral participation, ensuring that community voices were heard and integrated into local planning processes.
Officials emphasized that the RCSP serves as a vital mechanism in bringing government services closer to communities while promoting inclusive governance, peace, and sustainable development.
The activity concluded with a shared commitment among stakeholders to continue strengthening collaboration for lasting peace and progress in the community.
