⚠️🐙 PUBLIC ADVISORY: MAY NAITALANG MGA KASO NG JELLYFISH STING SA DAGAT NG ARINGAY 🐙⚠️

Nagpapaalala ang Municipal Government of Aringay at MDRRMO sa lahat ng naliligo at bumibisita sa ating baybayin na may naiulat na mga kaso ng jellyfish sting sa ilang bahagi ng dagat na nasasakupan ng Aringay, La Union.

Upang maiwasan ang anumang insidente, paalala sa publiko:

🔹 Iwasang lumangoy sa lugar kung saan may nakita nang jellyfish
🔹 Maging mapagmatyag at sundin ang abiso ng mga medics at Public Assistance Stations sa baybaying-dagat
🔹 Kung makaranas ng pamamanhid, kirot, pamumula, o anumang sintomas, agad lumapit sa pinakamalapit na first aid station
🔹 Huwag kamutin o kuskusin ang apektadong bahagi
🔹 Ipaalam agad sa mga awtoridad kung may makitang jellyfish sa paligid

Establishment of Medics & Public Assistance Stations
Along the National Highway, Coastline, and Riverbank Areas of Aringay

To ensure the safety and well-being of our community during the Lenten observance and expected influx of visitors, the Municipal Government of Aringay, through the MDRRMC in coordination with the different Barangay DRRMCs, has established Medics and Public Assistance Stations strategically located along:

📍 National Highway
📍 Coastal Areas
📍 Riverbank Areas

These stations are staffed by trained responders and volunteers ready to provide first aid, emergency response, public assistance, and situational monitoring to residents and visitors.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all beachgoers this Lenten season, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) has deployed Medical Teams and Public Assistance Stations across Samara Beach, Aringay, La Union.

Our teams are strategically positioned at the following locations:
🏖️ Paradiso Beach Resort
🏖️ Samara Public Beach
🏖️ By the Shore Beach Resort

Each station is manned by trained medics and responders ready to provide:
✔️ First aid & emergency medical care
✔️ Search and rescue support
✔️ Public information & assistance
✔️ Lost-and-found coordination
✔️ Safety monitoring along the shoreline

Sabay-sabay tayong 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗞, 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 pag tunog ng sirena. Makiisa sa 2026 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill ngayong araw, Marso 12, ganap na ika-3:30 ng hapon.

Layon ng "EARTHQUAKE DRILL" na itaas ang kamalayan, kaalaman at kahandaan ng mga Pilipino sa oras ng sakuna tulad ng LINDOL.

🏆 MDRRMO Aringay Receives Governor's Award during the PGLU PAMMADAYAW 2026

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Aringay under the leadership of Hon. Benjamin O. Sibuma proudly received the Governor’s Award during the PAMMADAYAW 2026 of the Provincial Government of La Union.

This award recognizes the office’s hard work and dedication in promoting disaster preparedness and building a safer, more resilient community.

Isang malaking karangalan para sa Bayan ng Aringay, La Union ang pagkamit ng BEYOND COMPLIANT na marka sa Gawad KALASAG 2025 Assessment.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay patunay ng patuloy at sama-samang pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Bayan, MDRRMC, mga barangay, responders, partner agencies, at ng buong komunidad sa pamumuno ni Mayor Benjamin Sibuma sa pagpapatupad ng mahusay na Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). Mula sa kahandaan, maagap na pagtugon, hanggang sa mabilis na pagbangon mula sa sakuna.

Ipinapakita ng tagumpay na ito ang matibay na pamumuno, epektibong koordinasyon, at malasakit ng Aringay sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat mamamayan. Higit sa lahat, ito ay inspirasyon upang ipagpatuloy at lalo pang paigtingin ang mga programang naglalayong gawing ligtas, handa, at matatag ang ating bayan laban sa anumang panganib.
