On the same occasion, as promised by this humble representation, I have distributed additional four (4) Super Scanner Metal Detectors, this time to Calagasan National High School, Usmad National High School, Mandilikit National High School, and Taloot Integrated School.

We have previously distributed five (5) metal detectors to Argao National High School, Hilario P. Davide Sr. National High School, Cansuje National High School, Bulasa National High School, and Talaga National High School.

This is in line with our vision of a 'safe and secure learning environment' for all students and schools within our beloved municipality.

Sectoral Consultative Meeting with CSOs, POs, and the Local People’s Council

On August 13, the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Argao, spearheaded by Hon. Vice Mayor Orvi Ortega, held a consultative meeting with the representatives of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), People’s Organizations (POs), and the Local People’s Council.

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss, brainstorm, and conceptualize legislative measures that would further strengthen and support CSOs and POs in Argao, as well as contribute to the continued development of the municipality.

Also present at the meeting was Hon. Mayor Allan M. Sesaldo, who helped align the key points discussed with relevant programs and policies, demonstrating the local government’s continued commitment to responsive, participatory, and inclusive governance for the betterment of all Argaowanons.
