The circulating posts on social media alleging a data breach in COMELEC by stating that 83,910,248 million Filipino voters' information have been compromised are NOT TRUE.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) reassures the Filipino public that all data and information of voters stored within the COMELEC network and database are COMPLETE and SECURE.

This comes after the thorough verification and investigation conducted by the COMELEC Information Technology Department Security Incident Response Team (ITD SIRT).
