Successful Handover of the Repaired Room
COMELEC CARES: Adopt-a-Room Program

As part of the COMELEC CARES: Adopt-a-Room Program under the Outreach Initiative of the Commission on Elections Region IV-A, the Office of the Election Officer (OEO), COMELEC Antipolo City successfully completed and formally turned over the repaired classroom to San Ysiro Elementary School.

San Ysiro Elementary School was carefully selected as the beneficiary of the program because of its remote location, being situated far from the city proper, and its limited financial resources. The school also faces significant challenges due to the absence of an electricity connection, relying solely on solar power to sustain its daily operations. These circumstances highlighted the urgent need for assistance and made the school a deserving recipient of the program.

Driven by its commitment to public service beyond the conduct of elections, COMELEC Antipolo City wholeheartedly and sincerely extended its support to help improve the school's learning environment. The repaired classroom is expected to provide a safer, more comfortable, and more conducive space for learning, ultimately benefiting not only the students and teachers but also the entire community it serves.

The implementation of the project was carried out smoothly and efficiently through the strong cooperation and unwavering support of the school's active Principal, Dr. Melvin B. CaΓ±otal, whose dedication and coordination greatly contributed to the successful completion of the initiative.

The formal handover of the repaired room symbolizes COMELEC's continuing commitment to social responsibility and community development. Through the COMELEC CARES Program, the Commission reinforces its mission of creating a lasting and meaningful impact in local communities by promoting initiatives that uplift educational institutions and improve the quality of life of the people they serve.

The successful completion of this project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and shared commitment to nation-building, leaving a lasting legacy of service, hope, and opportunity for the learners of San Ysiro Elementary School and the community.

In line with the Commission on Elections' commitment to social responsibility and community development, COMELEC Antipolo City proudly launched the COMELEC CARES: Adopt-A-Classroom Program at San Ysiro Elementary School, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.

The program was formally received through Dr. Melvin B. CaΓ±otan, School Principal, as part of COMELEC's continuing efforts to support quality education and provide a conducive learning environment for our young learners.

This initiative reflects COMELEC's dedication not only to safeguarding democracy but also to fostering meaningful partnerships that contribute to the welfare and development of our communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Melvin B. CaΓ±otan, School Principal, and the entire San Ysiro Elementary School community for warmly welcoming this endeavor.

Together, we continue to build empowered communities through education and service.
