RESOLVING RIGHT-OF-WAY ISSUES

| For the first time in the history of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), a dedicated Assistant Secretary for Right-of-Way has been designated.

In an interview on DZRH News, Transportation Secretary Giovanni "Banoy" Lopez said this has ended what had been the single biggest cause of transportation project delays for decades.

Isang taos pusong pasalamat kay Mrs. Renee Garcia-Fajermo at sa buo niyang pamilya sa kanilang sakripisyo para mabuo ang right of way ng North South Commuter Railway project sa Angeles City.

Sa parte naman ng Department of Transportation nangako ang ahensiya na tutulong ito sa paglalakad ng mga dokumentong kailangan ni Mrs. Garcia-Fajermo.

Nagpapatunay lamang na walang imposible kung maayos ang pag uusap at nagtutulungan ang gobyerno at ang residente.

Sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na pipiliting paandarin ang tren mula Clark hanggang Malolos ng 2028.

Napag usapan din ang patungkol sa entitlements at suportang ipagkakaloob ng Department of Transportation sa mga apektadong pamilya ng nasabing proyekto.

Kasama sa pulong sila Engineers Zam Domdon at Ivan Mendoza maging si Anneleen Sugui ng DOTr at si Shiena Hernandez ng Muntinlupa Urban Poor Office.

pinapamadali ni Transportation Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez ang rail projects ng ahensya.

Meeting with Engr. Sherwin I. Galleros, Department of Public Works and Highways - National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) assistant regional director with the technical team of Region 4A to discuss the agency’s support to the North South Commuter Railway Project.

Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez said that partnership with various agencies is crucial for the completion of NSCR.

RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION. Meeting with Social Security System’s (SSS) Atty. Neil F. Hernaez, Vice President of Asset Management Division for the acquisition of its properties affected by the North South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.

The Department of Transportation has accelerated the right of way and site acquisition for the major rail projects as compliance to the directive of President Marcos.
