PRO3 NABS SUSPECT IN BULACAN ABC PRESIDENT’S MURDER

A suspect in the murder of a Bulacan barangay official was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted in Kawit, Cavite. The 45-year-old accused was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for two counts of murder with no bail recommended.

The operation was carried out by the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit Tracker Team, in coordination with Bulacan 1st PMFC, Malolos CPS, RID 3, RSOG 3, RIU 3, and Kawit MPS, Cavite PPO, under the supervision of PCOL Jay B. Baybayan, OIC, Bulacan PPO.

The suspect attempted to evade arrest but was immediately apprehended following a failed escape attempt. He is now under police custody for proper disposition.

PBGEN Jess B. Mendez, Regional Director, PRO3, commended the operating units, emphasizing that the operation supports the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP, PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in intensifying manhunt operations and ensuring swift justice.

“Walang puwang ang pagtatago sa batas. Patuloy nating hahabulin ang mga may pananagutan hanggang sila ay maiharap sa hukuman,” RD Mendez said.

Abril 4, 2026 (Sabado) — Isang pribadong sasakyan ang aksidenteng dumiretso at nalaglag sa mga kubol sa ilog ng Sta. Lucia, Angat.

Sa kabutihang palad, agad na napaalis sa tamang oras ang mga taong namamasyal sa lugar kaya’t walang naiulat na nasaktan.

Agad namang rumesponde ang Pulisya ng Angat, Bureau of Fire Protection, MDRRMO, at mga opisyal ng barangay upang tugunan ang insidente. Sa tulong ng isang tractor mula sa GeoSolid Aggregates, matagumpay na naiahon ang sasakyan mula sa pinangyarihan.

Patuloy ang paalala sa lahat ng motorista na mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho, lalo na sa mga lugar na malapit sa ilog o may matatarik na bahagi ng kalsada.

PNP CONDEMNS AMBUSH OF POLICE PERSONNEL IN SHARIFF AGUAK

The Philippine National Police strongly condemns the senseless and cowardly ambush against its personnel in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur on the evening of March 28, 2026.

Members of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company were attacked by unidentified armed suspects while en route back to their detachment following patrol and police visibility operations. The incident resulted in the death of five (5) police personnel, while three (3) others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.

This heinous act is a direct assault on law enforcement and a threat to peace and order. The Philippine National Police has launched intensified hot pursuit operations, in coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, to ensure the swift identification and arrest of the perpetrators.

We assure the public that all necessary measures are being undertaken to bring those responsible to justice.

The Philippine National Police extends its deepest condolences to the families of our fallen personnel. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

“We will not waver. This attack will not go unanswered. Justice will be swift, certain, and uncompromising.”
