0643H 18 Aug 2026, BFP Anahawan EMS 2, Under the supervision of SFO2 Karen Mae S Duarte, OIC - Municipal Fire Marshal Anahawan Fire Station, responded to a Medical Emergency case of one 67 yo Male from Brgy. Mahalo, Anahawan, SL with a chief complaint of hypertension.

Upon arrival, pt is conscious and frail, does not respond to any verbal inquiries though is responsive to touch. Taken initial V/S with BP: 206/135 mmHg, PR: 81bpm, RR: 23 cpm, Temp: 36.4C, and SPO2: 95%.

On transport, history was obtained. It was noted that the patient was admitted to Anahawan District Hospital on 16 August 2026 and was just discharged yesterday, 17 August 2026. The patient was admitted due to body weakness. Less than a day, they called for assistance on the same matter.

Monitored Vital signs every 3 mins, given O2 via Non Rebreathing Mask at 3L/min and was transported to Anahawan District Hospital for further medical intervention.

At 0755H 17 August 2026, BFP Anahawan EMS 2, Under the supervision of SFO2 Karen Mae S Duarte, OIC - Municipal Fire Marshal Anahawan Fire Station, responded to a Trauma Emergency Call of a 28 yo Male with a chief complaint of multiple abrasions due to an MVA at Brgy. Look, Anahawan, Southern Leyte.

Upon arrival, seen pt sitting on the pavement, alert, awake and responsive. Rapid assessment was conducted on site, Vital signs was taken with BP of 140/103, PR of 88, RR of 15, and O2 Sat of 98 PT.

Rapid assesment was conducted as well as wound dressing and initial vital signs on site. Pt requested not to be brought to the medical facility for further medical assesment and intervention

BFP Anahawan EMS 1, together with RHU Anahawan and BHW's of Brgy. Amagusan, Look and Kagingkingan, joined in the 3rd and 4th Day of conduct of Nationwide Supplemental Vaccination Program for Measles-Rubella.

With the coordination from RHU Anahawan, BFP Anahawan EMS personnel joined in the conduct of vaccination for the said activity, which catered to an estimated 98 little Anahawnons of ages 1 to 4 yrs old.

This activity will last for the whole 2nd week of August 2026.

1241H 11 Aug 2026, BFP Anahawan EMS 1 responded to an Emergency case of one 89 yo Female of Brgy. Capacuhan, Anahawan with chief complaints of unresponsiveness.

Upon arrival, pt is unconscious and responsive but through infliction of minimal pain. taken initial V/S: BP: 140/80 mmHg, PR: 84 bpm, RR: 23 cpm, Temp: 36.7C, and SPO2: 91%.

On transport, History was taken, it was found out that the pt suffered fall (-3m) the evening prior that subsequently led to the pt to become unresponsive to verbal stimulation. pt has history of Hypertension.

Monitored Vital signs every 5 mins, given oxygen via Non Rebreathing Mask at 3L/min, and was transported to Anahawan District Hospital for further medical intervention.

Please be informed that our Fire Station’s firetruck is currently in San Juan, Southern Leyte for its annual vehicle registration and emission testing at the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

As a result, there will be no firetruck available at the station today, August 11, 2026, while the required registration and testing procedures are being completed.

In view of this, we strongly urge everyone to be extra vigilant and cautious in your homes and establishments. Please ensure that electrical appliances and equipment are properly turned off when not in use, avoid unattended cooking, keep flammable materials away from sources of heat, and observe all necessary fire safety precautions.

🚨 Let us all help prevent fire incidents, especially while our firetruck is temporarily unavailable. Your vigilance and cooperation can help keep our community safe.

1103H 08 Aug 2026 BFP Anahawan EMS 1 responded to an Emergency Call of a 76 yo Female from Brgy. Manigawong, Anahawan who has a chief complaint of epigastric pain and Difficulty of Breathing.

Upon arrival, seen pt awake, alert and ambulatory with obvious body malaise, guarded movement. with Pain score of 8/10, Crushing pain quality as verbalized by the pt.

V/S taken with BP: 140/80 mmHg, PR: 87 bpm, RR: 24 cpm, and SPO2: 93%. With Medical history of Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Ulcer.

Monitored V/S, given O2 via NRB @2-3L/Min, and transported to St. Vincent Medical Hospital (as per request by Pt) for further Medical Intervention.

2153H 07 Aug 2026, BFP Anahawan EMS 1 responded to an Emergency Call of a 14 yo Male with a chief complaint of epigastric pain at Brgy. Cogon, Anahawan, So. Leyte.

Upon arrival pt was alert, awake, (+) guarded movement, and grimaced face. Assessed pt, pain centered in epigastric area that radiates to the central to lower left chest area. Pain scale of 9/10 with a stabbing pain quality. V/S were taken BP: 100/80 mmHg, PR: 97 bpm, SPO2: 99%, RR: 29 cpm, Temp: 36.7 C.

Monitored V/S, coached breathing techniques to aleviate pain, and was transported to Anahawan District Hospital for further medical intervention.

Upon arrival, seen pt sitting on bed, awake and alert. With assessment, V/S were taken: BP: 140/90, PR: 89, RR: 26, and O2 Sat: 97% @ 4cm cervical dilatation, w/ G3T2P0A0L2 Gynecological History.

Pt decided to be transferred to Consuelo K Tan Hospital at Sogod, So. Leyte for further Medical Intervention after referral decision by the ER Physician of Anahawan District Hospital.

Transported Pt to Sogod, So. Leyte with the approval of Hon. Vice Mayor "Atoy" Vestal, and monitored V/S of the pt during the travel period.
