The Municipal Government of Amadeo, through the leadership of Jose “Jojo” R. Domingo Jr., reminds the public to exercise caution when purchasing land or subdivision lots within the municipality. This advisory is issued to protect prospective buyers from fraudulent or unauthorized subdivision developments that may place their investments at risk.

Under Presidential Decree No. 957, it is illegal to sell subdivision lots without securing a License to Sell from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development. Buyers are strongly encouraged to verify first before making any reservation or payment to ensure that the development project is legally approved and compliant with government regulations.

To guide the public, the Municipal Government advises buyers to check three important requirements before purchasing a lot. First is the Development Permit issued by the LGU Amadeo, which confirms that the municipality has approved the subdivision development. Second is the License to Sell from the DHSUD, which authorizes the developer to legally offer subdivision lots to the public. Third is the Approved Subdivision Plan, which ensures that the project includes proper roads, drainage systems, and open spaces for residents.

Residents and interested buyers who wish to verify the legitimacy of subdivision projects may coordinate with the Office of the Municipal Engineer or the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator of the Municipality of Amadeo. The local government strongly encourages everyone to protect their hard-earned investments by verifying all necessary documents before entering into any land purchase agreement.

Through this advisory, the Municipal Government continues its commitment to promoting transparency, protecting the welfare of its constituents, and ensuring responsible land development within the Municipality of Amadeo.

In accordance with national government directives aimed at reducing energy consumption and minimizing transportation fuel use amid rising petroleum prices, the Municipal Government of Amadeo will implement a four-day work week starting March 9, 2026.

Under this arrangement, employees will report to work for four days each week, with extended working hours to ensure that productivity and public service delivery remain uninterrupted. This initiative reflects the local government’s commitment to aligning with government policies that promote resource conservation and efficient public service operations.

The Municipal Engineering Office, headed by Engr. Rodney Costelo, and support from our Mayor Jojo Domingo Jr. conducted the audit of infrastructure projects for CY 2024–2025 on January 29–30, 2026, in coordination with the Commission on Audit (COA) representatives.

This activity aims to ensure that all government-funded infrastructure projects are implemented in accordance with approved plans, technical standards, and existing rules and regulations. The audit process reflects the Municipality’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and responsible use of public funds.

Through regular audits and close coordination with COA, the Municipal Engineering Office continues to strengthen good governance practices and uphold the public’s trust. This initiative also reinforces the Municipality’s dedication to keeping the community informed regarding the status, quality, and proper utilization of resources for infrastructure development.

The Municipality remains committed to delivering projects that are safe, efficient, and beneficial to the public, guided by transparency and integrity at all stages of implementation.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | EXTENDED OFFICE HOURS

To further improve the delivery of public services, the Municipality of Amadeo under the leadership of Hon. Dr. Jose R. Domingo, Jr., will implement extended office hours starting February 2, 2026, pursuant to Executive Order No. 15, s. 2026.

🕢 Office Hours:
Mondays: 8:00 AM -5:30PM
Tuesdays to Fridays: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

⏳ Initial Implementation Period:
The extended office hours shall be implemented until March 27, 2026, subject to evaluation based on its effectiveness and impact on service delivery.

This measure aims to:
• Provide the public with extended access and greater flexibility in availing municipal services;
• Address the increasing number of clients and service transactions;
• Ensure continuous and efficient service delivery, particularly in light of limited staffing capacity in certain offices.

The Municipal Government of Amadeo appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to enhance service delivery for the community.

Ang mga tanggapan na may tungkulin sa disaster monitoring, emergency response, at paghahatid ng pangunahing serbisyong pangkalusugan ay patuloy na magbibigay ng kinakailangang tulong sa publiko.
