ALUBIJID, Misamis Oriental โ€” The OWWA Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospitalโ€“Alubijid, Province of Misamis Oriental, celebrated National Nutrition Month 2026 on July 23 with the theme, "๐‘ต๐’–๐’•๐’“๐’Š๐’”๐’š๐’๐’ ๐’‚๐’• ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’Œ๐’‚๐’”๐’‚๐’, ๐‘จ๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘ท๐’‚๐’๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’‚๐’," bringing together hospital personnel and participants in a meaningful celebration that emphasized the importance of proper nutrition and environmental conservation.

The celebration began in the morning with Anlene from Activation Machine, Inc., which conducted bone scanning, nutrition counseling, and wet sampling for participants. The activity promoted awareness of bone health and proper nutrition, encouraging participants to adopt healthier lifestyles through preventive health measures.

An informative lecture was then delivered by Ms. Maria Nadith Roxas-Paquingan, Agricultural Technologist from the Municipal Agriculture Officeโ€“Alubijid, who shared practical insights on sustainable food production and the vital role of nutrition in achieving healthier communities. The activity was followed by the distribution of seedlings, encouraging participants to contribute to environmental preservation.

To keep the excitement alive, raffle draws were held throughout the program, rewarding participants with various prizes. The celebration concluded with an energetic Zumba session conducted simultaneously with the final raffle draw. Throughout the program, 50 participants won exciting raffle prizes, creating a lively and memorable ending to the event.

The celebration reaffirmed the hospitalโ€™s commitment to promoting health, nutrition, and environmental responsibility while strengthening community participation and wellness.
