𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 || 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓

In observance of Chinese New Year, there will be NO CLASSES in all levels nationwide on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Under Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, Malacañang Palace has declared this date a Special (Non-Working) Holiday. This suspension applies to both school sessions and government work in celebration of the start of the Year of the Fire Horse.

Classes and government operations will resume on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Altavas College will host the National Teachers’ Day Celebration 2025 on October 3, Friday, at the Julio G. Refol Sr. Memorial, Cultural, and Sports Complex.

With the theme “Together4Teachers: Celebrating the Heart of Education,” the celebration aims to highlight the dedication, passion, and commitment of educators who continue to inspire and empower generations of learners.

The event will be hosted by the Teacher Education Department in collaboration with the BSOA, BSHM, BSCRIM Departments, and the AC Senior High School.

Altavas College invites all ACians to join the celebration and honor the teachers.
