The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the dynamic leadership of FCSUPT RODOLFO P DENAGA, DSC, Regional Director, together with the office of the Provincial Fire Marshal - Cebu Province spearheaded by FCSUPT ARRA B ALPAJARO, the Aloguinsan Fire Station led by OIC SFO3 Ma. Eldicyn D Alburo, remains relentless in our commitment to public safety.

Today, our team is proud to join hands with local residents and civic leaders for the community in mangrove planting and coastal clean-up activities. Planting mangroves restores our natural defenses, while clearing debris and proper waste management directly reduces fire hazards, safeguards public health, and builds a more resilient, safer environment for every family in Aloguinsan.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7 – Province of Cebu, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 π‘πŽπƒπŽπ‹π…πŽ 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and under the supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 π€π‹ππ€π‰π€π‘πŽ, Provincial Fire Marshal of Cebu, with the guidance of SFO3 Ma. Eldicyn D Alburo, Officer-in-Charge of the Aloguinsan Fire Station, actively participated in and supported the conduct of the CY 2026 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

The activity was conducted to strengthen earthquake preparedness, public awareness, and community resilience, while promoting the proper and immediate response of individuals and communities during earthquake emergencies.

Through this drill, participants were reminded of the importance of the β€œDuck, Cover, and Hold” safety procedure, as well as the need to remain calm, alert, and prepared during the occurrence of an earthquake or other disaster-related emergencies.

The BFP continues to stand committed to its mandate of protecting lives and properties and to strengthening disaster preparedness through active community participation, education, and emergency response initiatives.

Together, let us continue building a safer, more resilient, and disaster-prepared community.

Aloguinsan Fire Station conducted a house-to-house fire safety education, posting of Fire Safety Stickers containing important Aloguinsan emergency contact numbers, along with short but meaningful fire safety talks with homeowners.

Also conducted Fire Safety Inspections in business establishments to help ensure compliance with fire safety standards and promote a safer community.

These activities aim to strengthen public awareness, encourage preparedness, and prevent fire incidents through simple but essential safety practices.
