The “𝚁𝙴𝙲𝚈𝙲𝙻𝙰𝙱𝙻𝙴 𝙼𝙾, 𝙱𝙰𝙻𝚈𝚄 𝙱𝙸𝙶𝙰𝚂 𝙺𝙾” ♻️ program was successfully implemented in various barangays in support of 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝟗𝟎𝟎𝟑, also known as the 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬. The activity encouraged proper waste segregation and recycling through the collection of glass bottles, which were diverted from landfills and managed in an environmentally responsible manner. In return, rice was distributed to participating residents, providing food assistance while reinforcing the value of recyclables. The program enhanced community awareness and participation in solid waste management, promoted environmental stewardship, and demonstrated a practical, incentive-based approach aligned with the objectives of RA 9003. Overall, the initiative contributed to sustainable waste management practices and strengthened community engagement across the barangays.

Through the collective efforts of the community, almost 2,300 kilograms of glass bottles collected, thank you 𝘽𝙧𝙜𝙮. 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤, 𝙋𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝙄, 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙄, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙜𝙮. 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙟𝙖𝙤

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝑀𝓊𝓃𝒾𝒸𝒾𝓅𝒶𝓁 𝐸𝓃𝓋𝒾𝓇𝑜𝓃𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒩𝒶𝓉𝓊𝓇𝒶𝓁 𝑅𝑒𝓈𝑜𝓊𝓇𝒸𝑒 𝒪𝒻𝒻𝒾𝒸𝑒-𝒹𝑒𝓈𝒾𝑔𝓃𝒶𝓉𝑒 (MENRO) was invited the Barangay Assembly Day and grateful for the opportunity. It was a successful and meaningful gathering that allowed us to be informed about the accomplishments, plans, and programs. I truly appreciate the efforts of barangay officials Headed by the Punong Barangay 𝓗𝓸𝓷. 𝓐𝓬𝓲𝓵𝓸 𝓛. 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓲𝓪𝓵𝓭𝓪 (ʟɪɢᴀ ᴘʀᴇꜱɪᴅᴇɴᴛ) and residents for their active participation and cooperation, which made the event productive and well-organized. The assembly strengthened our sense of unity and commitment to work together for the continued progress and development of the community.

𝙾𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚋𝚎𝚛 11, 2025 𝚂𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚍𝚊𝚢 6:00𝚊𝚖-9:00𝚊𝚖.

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓒𝓸𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓒𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓷-𝓾𝓹 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓒𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓷-𝓾𝓹 𝓓𝓻𝓲𝓿𝓮/𝓑𝓪𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓪 𝓦𝓪𝓵𝓴 was a resounding success, with over 160 participants coming together to protect our environment. The Activity saw enthusiastic participants collecting several sack of trash from the coastline, canal, and pathways. The Activity not only beautify our shores but also raised awareness about importance of proper waste management and the impact of human activities on human life.

This Activity Organized by the 𝖬𝗎𝗇𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗅 𝖤𝗇𝗏𝗂𝗋𝗈𝗇𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖭𝖺𝗍𝗎𝗋𝖺𝗅 𝖱𝖾𝗌𝗈𝗎𝗋𝖼𝖾 𝖮𝖿𝖿𝗂𝖼𝖾 (𝖬𝖤𝖭𝖱𝖮) and Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) with the SK Federation, joint with the PNP, RHU, MDRRMO, PYA ,DepEd and Students with the active Participations of Brgy. Council of SAN JOSE, POBLACION, VELOSO, PANJOBJOBAN 1, PANJOBJOBAN 2, Tanod's & BHW. The activity was supported by the Local government, Honorable Mayor 𝓒𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓭𝓸 𝓞. 𝓑𝓸𝓷𝓪, 𝓙𝓻. expressing his commitment to environmental conservations and providing resources to facilitate the event, and the presence of the Municipal Administrator 𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓸𝓼 𝓢. 𝓓𝓮𝓵𝓪 𝓒𝓻𝓾𝔃. We also appreciate the efforts of Ivan Lester Ygbuhay for this activity, Venz O. Ferer, Gilmar Ressurrection and Krishia Mae Jabunero.

"𝚄𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚁𝚎𝚙𝚞𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚌 𝙰𝚌𝚝 𝙽𝚘. 9003 – 𝙴𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚕 𝚂𝚘𝚕𝚒𝚍 𝚆𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎 𝙼𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚐𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝙰𝚌𝚝 𝚘𝚏 2000, Local Government Units (LGUs) and communities are empowered to conduct clean-up drives as part of their solid waste management programs. It is just timely that the LGU will be celebrating its 134𝓽𝓱 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓐𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓪𝓻𝔂, and in line with this, the 𝓜𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓬𝓲𝓹𝓪𝓵 𝓔𝓷𝓿𝓲𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓝𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓬𝓮 𝓞𝓯𝓯𝓲𝓬𝓮 in collaboration with :

Governor Sharee Ann Tan has issued Executive Order No. 19, declaring the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools and suspension of work in all government offices in the Province of Samar on September 25, 2025 due to Severe Tropical Storm Opong.
