In celebration of International and National Youth Day (IANYD) and Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK), the National Youth Commission is proud to share the 2026 Youth Day Toolkit to all of YOUth! ✨

With the theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” this year’s theme highlights the lived realities of youth everywhere—no matter the differences, every youth wishes for a sustainable future where they are engaged, enabled and empowered. 💪

𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓 | 𝐌𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐈: 𝐀 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦

Last May 30, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Cabacungan took part in MAPILI: A Voters’ Education Forum, a meaningful initiative that encouraged our youth to become informed, critical, and responsible voters.

The forum provided valuable discussions on leadership, governance, and the importance of making wise decisions during elections. It served as a reminder that every vote has the power to shape the future of our community and our nation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers, Associate Professor Ladylyn L. Mangada and Ms. Geralyn A. Merimilla, for generously sharing their knowledge, insights, and expertise with our youth.

Malugod naming ibinabahagi na ang proyekto ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Cabacungan na 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗦𝗘𝗔: 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗼𝗺 ay muling kinilala sa buong bansa bilang 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 para sa 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗡 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗔) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄

Matatandaang ang proyektong ito ay nanalo rin bilang isa sa 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗞 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 sa 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 noong Agosto 2024.

Sa ikalawang taon ng mga programa ng AdvocaSEA, ang parangal na ito ay sumisimbolo sa husay at galing ng mga kabataan ng Cabacungan. Kinikilala nito ang ating kontribusyon sa pagsusulong ng United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ang pagkilala bilang isang Pambansang Finalist ay isang makabuluhang tagumpay at patunay sa epekto ng ating sipag at dedikasyon sa paglikha ng positibong pagbabago sa ating komunidad at sa bansa.

Sa darating na Hunyo 24-28, kikilalanin ang mga National Winners sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Gayunpaman, ang pagiging National Finalist pa lamang ay isa nang malaking karangalan.

Sa mga natitira nating buwan bago ang paghahalal ng bagong liderato, ipagpapatuloy pa natin ang pagsusulong ng mga makabago at inobatibong proyekto para makamit ang isang pamayanang payapa, malinis, at para sa lahat.
