L O O K | Alilem NHS conducts information campaign on school safety drill.
ALILEM, ILOCOS SUR - Joining the PNP, BFP and DRRM, Alilem National High School participates in the National Simultaneous Safety Drill through Information Campaign on Safety Measures.
The PNP led by PLT AIDAN JOSHUA M. AGUILAR, OIC, discussed the proper handling of possible school shooting incidents. They gave sample scenarios with provided emergency response and reiterated the realization of the importance of "SAFETY STARTS WITH AWARENESS".
Meanwhile, the BFP headed by SFO3 ERWIN P. QUILANA, Acting Municipal Fire Marshall, highlighted the awareness of Basic Life Support when a gunshot wound happens. They emphasized the importance of the difference a person can make knowing how to apply immediate and appropriate assitance while waiting for medical help.
The DRRM, guided by DENNIS B. MUTONG, Municipal DRRMO, then said that your action or response during active threat scenarios depends on the situation, you just need to be aware of the things you need to do and always think of safety first.
Through this activity, it enhances multi-agency coordination to ensure safety of students, teachers, other stakeholders and the community as a whole.
