Established in 1997 alongside the approval of the 1997 PNUNL SG Constitution, the Philippine Normal University North Luzon Commission on Student Elections (PNUNL ComSec) or formerly known as PNUNL COMELEC, is one of the Constitutional Commissions under the 1997 PNUNL SG Constitution. on. Jeffrey Buza, made history by organizing its first-ever Online Elections on June 16, 2021, with a significant voter turnout of 82.86%. This marked a progressive change in the election process, using technology to make voting easier and more engaging for students. Additionally, in April 2023, the Commission under Comm. Jester Jara's leadership, held a successful plebiscite, making amendments to the 1997 Constitution. These changes aim to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of the Student Government, improving the services it provides to students. Recently, during the PABBOTO 2024: Executive Body Elections headed by Comm. Crizzabeth Batoon, the COMSEC Chairperson, PNUNL COMSEC achieved a historic all-time high voters' turnout of 85.33%, the highest in the recent history of the Commission. Currently, PNUNL COMSEC remains committed to its role of ensuring good leadership for the welfare and well-being of PNUans. By carrying out its responsibilities, the Commission continues to play an important role in promoting active and inclusive student governance at the Philippine Normal University North Luzon.
