DESCRIPTION OF THE BARANGAY
Brief History
In 1939 a new barrio was curved out from barrio Rizal and was named Burgos. The place was originally called “DAMORTES”, because infront of the Dulawen Creek bounding the place was a big “Damotes” tree, which is a fruitbearing tree. On January 1, 1939, the settlers finally constituted their barrio and named it Burgos in honor of the Martyr and National
Hero, Father Jose Burgos. Of all the barrios of Alicia, only Burgos kept a record of its barrio head since 1939 to 1979. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The barangay is more or less 7 kms from the municipal seat ogovernment. It is surrounded by various barangays:
