πŸ“’ BARANGAY ASSEMBLY DAY | MARCH 22, 2026

Today at our barangay assembly, SK Chairman Mark Dave Cancejo presented a comprehensive report on the San Esteban SK Council’s accomplishments, achievements, and full liquidation of funds.

He addressed a critical concern head-on – identifying THREE REASONS WHY YOUTH FEEL DETACHED FROM GOVERNMENT:

1. Kabataan can’t feel the programs

2. Kabataan can’t see the projects

3. Only selected groups benefit from initiatives

These points serve as the foundation for how the council operates and allocates resources – with a promise that every sector of the youth feels the impact:
βœ… College level: Financial assistance provided
βœ… Senior High School: Vitamins and school supplies distributed
βœ… Out-of-school youth: Cash-for-work programs and native chicken distribution

The council is also committed to environmental action – since 2024-2025, they’ve funded plastic bottle cages, trash bins.
For Climate Change Adoptation was calamansi seedling tree-planting activities along Zones 6 & 7.

In sports development:

β€’ Provided basketball jerseys for teams joining the Alcala Sports League

β€’ Conducted 2 local leagues already, with another planned for July 2026

β€’ Increasing sports paraphernalia, with table tennis and volleyball sets coming this month of March.

SK Chairman Mark Dave Cancejo emphasized that no corruption or kickbacks have occurred in any SK purchases – ensuring full transparency and accountability to the community.

Requirements have been posted below for all interested participants.

This initiative goes beyond funding dreams – it seeks to empower students even as concerns persist over issues of corruption among some national government officials.
