ARANA-AR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SHINES AT THE MUNICIPAL MATH BOWL 2026

March 3, 2026 | Calantac Elementary School — In a remarkable display of talent, determination, and mathematical excellence, Arana-ar Elementary School proudly emerged as the Champion in the Municipal Math Bowl 2026 (Key Stage 2), outperforming strong competitors from schools across the municipality.
Representing the school were Princess P. Rigos, a Grade 6 learner, and Krisanda Kaye S. Miembros, a Grade 5 pupil. Their exceptional performance highlighted not only their impressive mathematical abilities but also their commitment, discipline, and hard work throughout the preparation and competition.
Prior to their municipal victory, Princess and Krisanda had also proven their competence at the District Math Bowl 2026, where they excelled and earned the right to advance to the Division level. Their consistent success demonstrates their strong foundation in mathematics and admirable perseverance.
The competition brought together highly skilled participants from various elementary schools, all eager to showcase their quick thinking and mastery of mathematical concepts. Despite the tight contest, the Arana-ar ES Key Stage 2 team distinguished themselves through their accuracy, strategic approach, and quick problem-solving skills—ultimately securing the top spot.
Meanwhile, in the Key Stage 1 Category, Elsa B. Duque (Grade 3) and Katrina Angelie B. Dante (Grade 2) brought additional honor to the school by securing 2nd Place, further proving Arana-ar Elementary School’s strength across multiple levels of mathematical competition.
These achievements were made possible through the dedicated guidance of Coach Marilou C. Flores (Key Stage 2) and Coach Rezle C. Tabaog (Key Stage 1), whose expertise and support played a crucial role in preparing the learners for the rigorous rounds of the contest.
This triumph not only brings great pride to Arana-ar Elementary School but also sets an inspiring benchmark for future competitors. It serves as a powerful reminder that with dedication, teamwork, and a passion for learning, excellence is always within reach.
