📢 MHRMO PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Municipal Human Resource Management Office informs all officials, employees, and the general public that, by virtue of Administrative Order No. 05, series of 2026, issued by Municipal Mayor Hon. Rolan E. Espinosa, the Municipal Government of Albuera shall revert to a compressed four (4)-day workweek schedule.

This measure is part of the Local Government Unit’s continuing efforts to strengthen energy conservation and promote the efficient utilization of government resources, while ensuring the continuous and effective delivery of public services.

Effective September 7, 2026, the new work schedule shall be:

MONDAY TO THURSDAY
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

All offices are advised to observe the prescribed schedule accordingly and ensure that essential government services remain accessible to the public during the scheduled working days.

The public is likewise encouraged to plan their transactions with the Municipal Government in accordance with the new schedule.

Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated as we collectively support the LGU’s efforts toward energy conservation, resource efficiency, and responsive public service.

📢 MHRMO PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Municipal Human Resource Management Office advises all officials, employees, and members of the public to take precautionary measures following reports that haze from ongoing forest fires in Indonesia has reached parts of the Philippines, with haze-related air pollution affecting areas of the Visayas and Mindanao.

Fine particles in polluted air may irritate the respiratory system and may pose greater health risks to children, senior citizens, pregnant women, and individuals with asthma, heart conditions, or other respiratory concerns.

For Your Protection:

• Limit prolonged outdoor activities when the air appears hazy.
• Keep windows and doors closed when necessary to minimize exposure to outdoor air.
• Stay hydrated by drinking sufficient water throughout the day.
• Wear a properly fitted face mask when going outdoors, especially when haze is noticeable.
• Seek medical attention if you experience persistent coughing, difficulty breathing, chest discomfort, wheezing, or other concerning symptoms.

Stay informed and updated. The public is encouraged to regularly monitor the official bulletins and air-quality advisories of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Regional Office VIII for the latest information and guidance regarding the haze situation.

Let us remain alert, informed, and proactive in protecting our health and the health of our community.

2026 RLGC Onsite Assessment | September 2, 2026

The Local Government Unit of Albuera underwent the 2026 Regional Local Governance Champions (RLGC) Onsite Assessment, marking another milestone in its continuing pursuit of excellence in local governance.

Led by Mayor Rolan E. Espinosa, department heads and concerned personnel presented the LGU’s accomplishments and performance for Calendar Year 2025 across the ten governance areas covered by the assessment.

The Regional Assessment Team (RAT) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), headed by LGOO VII Mauricio T. Labado, Jr., conducted a thorough assessment of the documentary Means of Verification (MOVs) and inspected the physical facilities presented by the LGU.

As a previous RLGC passer and two-time Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) awardee, LGU Albuera remains committed to sustaining good governance, strengthening institutional performance, and delivering quality public service to its constituents.

With its continued dedication and collective efforts, LGU Albuera is poised to achieve its second RLGC recognition. 🏆

Through the initiative and approval of Municipal Mayor Rolan Espinosa, the Municipal Agriculture Office has officially received new motorcycle service units. These vehicles will enhance our team's mobility, ensuring faster and more effective delivery of agri-fishery extension works and technical assistance to farmers and fisherfolk across Albuera.

August 28, 2026 | Launching of the Albuera Municipal E-Library

The Local Government Unit of Albuera, headed by Hon. Mayor Rolan E. Espinosa, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), successfully launched the Albuera Municipal E-Library on August 28, 2026.

The opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony was spearheaded by Hon. Vice Mayor Mariel E. Marinay and SK Federation President Hon. Bernard Joey Mestula. The activity was attended by members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Municipal Administrator, District Supervisors from the DepEd North and South, school heads, SK Officials and various department heads of the municipality.

The Albuera Municipal E-Library is envisioned to provide accessible digital learning resources and information to all Albueranos, particularly indigent constituents and students who have limited or no access to the internet and other digital resources.

This initiative is a significant step toward promoting inclusive education, digital literacy, and equal access to information and learning opportunities within the Municipality of Albuera.
