📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

Please be informed that the DILG Albuera Field Office will be open Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, following the four-day workweek schedule being observed by the Local Government Unit of Albuera effective Monday, September 7, 2026.

This arrangement is consistent with the DILG Regional Memorandum dated August 4, 2026, which provides that:

“All DILG Region 8 Field Offices (Provincial, City and Municipal Offices) shall follow the workweek schedule of their respective Local Government Units.”

We encourage clients and stakeholders who need assistance or coordination with the DILG Albuera Field Office to take note of the updated office schedule.

📢 MHRMO PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Municipal Human Resource Management Office informs all officials, employees, and the general public that, by virtue of Administrative Order No. 05, series of 2026, issued by Municipal Mayor Hon. Rolan E. Espinosa, the Municipal Government of Albuera shall revert to a compressed four (4)-day workweek schedule.

This measure is part of the Local Government Unit’s continuing efforts to strengthen energy conservation and promote the efficient utilization of government resources, while ensuring the continuous and effective delivery of public services.

Effective September 7, 2026, the new work schedule shall be:

MONDAY TO THURSDAY
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

All offices are advised to observe the prescribed schedule accordingly and ensure that essential government services remain accessible to the public during the scheduled working days.

The public is likewise encouraged to plan their transactions with the Municipal Government in accordance with the new schedule.

Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated as we collectively support the LGU’s efforts toward energy conservation, resource efficiency, and responsive public service.

Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents I September 3, 2026

Benolho Elementary School in Brgy. Benolho, Albuera, Leyte led the conduct of the Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents in the barangay as part of efforts to strengthen preparedness and ensure the safety and security of learners and school personnel.

School Principal Mrs. Mary Ann C. Jandoc coordinated with the Albuera Municipal Police Station (PNP) and the BLGU Benolho in planning and implementing the said drill.

MLGOO Sheryl A. Pagadora was in attendance as an observer to monitor the LGU’s compliance with the **Safer School Zones Initiative** and to assess the preparedness and coordination of concerned stakeholders during emergency situations.

Following the drill, participating students, parents, barangay personnel, and teachers were briefed on appropriate safety measures and protective actions to take in the event of an active attack incident.

Through strengthened coordination among schools, barangays, law enforcement agencies, and the local government, the activity promotes a safer, more prepared, and resilient school community.

Para maprotektahan ang kalusugan ng iyong pamilya, subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo ukol sa kalidad ng hangin sa inyong lugar mula sa DENR-EMB o sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan.

Maaari ring makita ang real-time AQI sa inyong lugar sa link na nasa comment section. Sa kasalukuyan, mariing pinaghahanda ang mga taga Visayas at Mindanao para sa posibleng pag-abot ng Haze sa dalawang rehiyon na ito.

Kung hindi maganda ang air quality sa inyong lugar, tandaan ang mga sumusunod:

✅ Magsuot ng mask kapag kailangang lumabas ng bahay at iwasan muna ang mabibigat na outdoor activities.
✅ Mag-ingat lalo ang mga bata, matatanda, buntis, at may sakit sa puso o baga, at ihanda ang kanilang mga gamot.
✅ Para sa mga nagtatrabaho sa labas, magsuot ng mask at regular na magpahinga sa loob ng mga gusali. Laging unahin ang proteksyon sa kalusugan.
✅ Maging maingat sa pagmamaneho dahil sa mababang visibility mula sa haze.

Sakaling mangailangan ng tulong, tumawag agad sa National Emergency Hotline 911. Maaari ring pumunta sa mga Health Center at YAKAP Clinic para sa libreng konsultasyon, risk screening, mga laboratoryo, at libreng gamot para sa hika o mild-to-moderate pneumonia.

Participation in the Provincial Team Conference | August 28, 2026

MLGOO Sheryl A. Pagadora, together with the DILG Leyte field and provincial office personnel, participated in the whole-day virtual Provincial Team Conference convened by the DILG Leyte Provincial Office.

The conference served as an avenue to discuss program updates, align priorities, and finalize commitments for the second semester.

Adding excitement to the day, DILG Albuera was in for a pleasant surprise after securing 3rd Place among the Top 3 Best Performing Field Operating Units for the month of July! 🏆🥉

During today’s DILG Leyte Provincial Team Conference, DILG Leyte Cluster 3, led by Cluster Head Mauricio T. Labado, Jr., was once again recognized as the Best Performing Cluster for the Month of July! 👏
