๐๐๐๐: Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro has recently issued Executive Order No. 2026-0031, officially lifting the implementation of the four-day compressed work week in the Local Government Unit of Alangalang and restoring the regular five-day work schedule effective June 1, 2025.
The temporary compressed work arrangement was previously adopted as a response to the energy crisis, aimed at reducing electricity consumption and fuel expenses while ensuring the continued delivery of essential government services. Similar measures were implemented by several local government units and government offices across the country during periods of heightened energy and fuel concerns.
With the issuance of the new executive order, offices will resume their normal Monday-to-Friday operations, signaling the LGUโs return to regular government services as energy conditions stabilize.
