In observance of 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the Alaminos City Library joins the nation in remembering the life, courage, and sacrifice of 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 “𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆” 𝗦. 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿.

Today reminds us that love for country is shown not only through words, but through courage, service, and the willingness to stand for what is right.

In accordance with 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟮𝟱𝟲, August 21 of every year is declared as 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘿𝙖𝙮, 𝙖 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙣-𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮.

Dahil pa rin po sa patuloy na pag-ulan, alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 129, s. 2026, ipinatutupad ang Alternative Work Arrangement. Kaugnay nito, sarado pa rin po ang Alaminos City Library ngayong araw Agosto 19,2026.

Paalala po sa lahat ng aming library users na manatiling ligtas at mag-ingat sa panahon ng masamang lagay ng panahon.

Suspendido ang klase sa lahat ng antas bukas August 19, 2026 (Wednesday) dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan na dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) at Tropical Depression .🌧️

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatili sa ligtas na lugar at patuloy na sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na abiso mula sa LGU Alaminos City at iba pang kinauukulang ahensya.

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟏𝟐𝟗, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 19 August 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗛𝗢𝗡 | 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 “𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗚”

Ang low pressure area na nasa silangan ng extreme Northern Luzon ay lumakas at naging 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 “𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗚”.

Ayon sa pinakahuling datos, ang sentro ng Tropical Depression ay tinatayang nasa 1,025 kilometro silangan ng Extreme Northern Luzon.

Kumikilos ito pa-hilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 20 km/h, taglay ang lakas ng hangin na 45 km/h malapit sa sentro at pagbugsong umaabot sa 55 km/h.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling alerto at updated sa mga susunod na ulat-panahon at abiso ng PAGASA.

Magandang araw, Readers!

Ipinapaalam po ng Alaminos City Library na SARADO ang ating tanggapan ngayong Agosto 18, 2026, alinsunod sa Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 128, s. 2026, na nagpatupad ng Alternative Work Arrangement sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan dahil sa matinding pag-ulan dulot ng Southwest Monsoon.

Para sa kaligtasan ng lahat, manatili muna sa ligtas na lugar, mag-ingat sa pagbiyahe, at patuloy na maging alerto sa mga abiso ng mga kinauukulang ahensya.
