From the excitement of our activities, the creativity of our young people, the friendly competition, the new friendships, and the countless moments we sharedโ€”these past days have truly been a celebration of what it means to be young, empowered, involved, and heard.

Day 2 brought another day filled with energy, talent, wit, teamwork, and sportsmanship. And as we gathered for the Awarding Ceremony, we celebrated not only the winners, but every young person who stepped forward, participated, took risks, shared their talents, and became part of this meaningful celebration.

Youth took the spotlight today at Plaza Enrique Braganza as Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 officially opened, setting the stage for a celebration of talent, creativity, leadership, and unity.

From words came expression, as the Alaminos City National High School โ€“ Special Program in the Arts (Theater Arts) took the stage. Through their performance, the young artists transformed talent into storytelling, setting the tone for a celebration where every voice and ability has a place.

The moment became official with the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, symbolically opening the doors to days of activities dedicated to the city's young people.

But Linggo ng Kabataan is not only about speeches and ceremonies, but it is also about reconnecting with one another. Bringing laughter, movement, and a touch of tradition to the festivities was Laro ng Lahi, spearheaded by SAYO and the SK Federation. Through beloved Filipino games, participants rediscovered the joy of playing together, turning simple games into moments of friendship and teamwork.

The excitement begins as preparations are underway for the much-anticipated Kick-Off of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026!

The City Government of Alaminos, through the City Youth and Sports Development Office and the Samahang Alaminian Youth Organization (SAYO), spearheads the preparation for the Booth Competition, bringing together Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) members and student representatives from college institutions across the City of Alaminos.

With collaboration and youthful energy coming together, our young Alaminian leaders are gearing up to make this yearโ€™s Linggo ng Kabataan a celebration to remember.

Sharpening pens, raising voices! The Kabataan sa Pamamahayag: Basic Journalism Seminar was successfully held today at 1:00 PM at the Conference Hall as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

The event was graced by ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐š๐ง ๐‚. ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž, City Mayor; Hon. ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‰๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐€๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐จ ๐Œ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ ๐˜. ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ณ, City Vice Mayor; and ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‹๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐•. ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐›๐ž-๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐๐ž๐ฌ, SK Federation President, who shared their support and encouragement for the youth to develop their skills and passion for journalism and responsible communication.
