Global: UN General Assembly must open formal negotiations on Crimes Against Humanity Convention

"The next six weeks present a unique opportunity for the international community to finally make progress on the negotiation and adoption of a convention on crimes against humanity. ...No region on earth is free from these atrocities that deeply shock the conscience of humanity. Recent and ongoing situations in countries such as Afghanistan, China, Ethiopia, Iran, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Myanmar, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Syria, Ukraine and Venezuela serve as constant reminders of the urgent need to reinforce the international justice system,"

We pray that the following be considered as deemed fit and immediately granted by the international bodies protecting the humanity:

1. Include Election Rigging in any country as Crime Against Humanity as it affects helpless thousands, if not millions or even billion lives as captive victims of grand corruption, political dynasties and disenfranchising up to billion lives of their sacred votes making all generations vulnerable and tampering democracy;

2. Please also include to file a case against the Supreme Court of any country causing "Justice Delayed is Justice Denied" on cases and the likes of Petition for Writ of Mandamus long-standing involving Crime Against Humanity, disenfranchising or affecting many, especially thousands, millions and even human race;

Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Justice too long Delayed is Justice Denied."

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

3. Abolish Automated Election System worldwide, which has been weaponized for fraudulent elections affecting up to billions of lives; and,

4. Only allow both Hybrid Election System and Manual Election System anywhere in the world, whenever applicable as effective and efficient, likewise are control measures on Saving Democracy and prevent Crime Against Humanity.

Please grant all of these that we ask for, Father God in Heaven, with your great blessings of saving humanity. All glory and honor to you, Almighty Father, forever and ever. Amen.🙏🙏🙏

The biggest threat to democracy is not communism but fascism.

When Sen. Tolentino made a privilege speech calling on government officials to effectively red-tag their own family, the messaging was clear: those with any ideology other than those subservient to the sitting president or the ruling establishment should be treated as enemies.

Mula pa nung maluklok si Digong Duterte ganoon na ang ginawa nilang pambubudol sa taumbayan. Kapag hindi DDS, kalaban. Drug addict, aktibista, komunista, dilawan, pinklawan at kung anu-ano pa mang imbentong salita para siraan ang hindi humahalik sa paa ng kanilang p**n.

Ang pagiging aktibista at pagsunod sa makakaliwang ideolohiya ay hindi krimen sa ating bansa. Ibig lamang sabihin nito ay mataas ang kanilang ekspektasyon mula sa gobyernong pinagsisidlan ng kanilang pag-asa.

Hindi krimen ang sabihan ang gobyerno na tulungan ang mahihirap at inaapi, ingatan ang kalikasan, igalang ang karapatang pantao, at pagbayarin ang mga abusado at korap na pulitiko at kawani ng gobyerno.

Any government official who has sincere concern for our country will have to work with groups with left-leaning concerns and beliefs. Even Senate President Pro-Tempore and environment defender Loren Legarda admitted to working with the CPP’s political wing, the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP), in freeing soldiers and policemen who were captured by NPA rebels as prisoners of war. It was there that she understood that we have many similar goals for our country. In spite of her just cause, she is now being red-tagged.

Any government official working on environmental concerns work with environmental activists. Why, you ask? Because very few organized groups outside the left bother with the environment. The same goes for poverty reduction and human rights protection.

Now, the left is treated like terrorists and their just advocacies are dismissed as mere annoyances. That is pure madness and ultimately, detrimental to our country and our people.

The fascist narrative propagated by the Duterte administration and seemingly continued to the present are depriving our country of important and learned voices that could very well help us push our nation forward.

Our country’s activists do the work. They read the law and other government issuances. They participate in policy discussions and file the appropriate court interventions. They go to the community and listen to grievances and concerns. They know and do infinitely more about and for our country than armchair “experts” and officials who could only resort to red-tagging and personal attacks when presented with valid criticisms.

A democratic government must sincerely pursue the path to meaningful conversations and peaceful resolutions, and only resort to violence if it is unavoidable. Opposing but informed voices is vital for every democracy. The only voice that must be silenced is that which seeks to oppress the others.

The fascist rhetoric must stop now. # # #

PAHAYAG NG TIMUN
Hinggil sa patuloy na red-tagging at harasment

Muling naranasan ng mga lider at kasapian ng Timpuyog dagiti Marigrigat nga Umili ti Naguilian o TIMUN, isa sa mga founding organization ng Alyansa Dagiti Marigrigat nga Mannalon ken Manggalap o AMMLU, ng red-tagging at panggigipit nitong nakaraang buwan.

Noong Marso 26, sa labas ng barangay hall ng Gusing Norte, Naguilian, nakasabit ang mga sakong poster na may nakalagay na pagbibintang na si Eduardo Rimando, chairperson emeritus ng TIMUN at kasalukuyang Spokesperson ng Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) Ilocos, ay isa umanong NPA recruiter. Nang lapitan ito ni Rimando, nakita niyang basa pa ang pintura sa sako at sa tantya niya ay madaling araw ito inilagay. Wala namang nakakita kung sino ang naglagay ng mga poster na iyon doon sa labas ng barangay hall.

Dagdag pa, noong Marso 30, pinigilan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Naguilian ang mga delegado ng TIMUN sa pagpunta sa isang Peasant Assembly sa San Fernando, La Union na kung saan tinalakay ang iba’t ibang mga suliraning kinakaharap ng mga magsasaka hinggil sa presyo ng farm inputs at agrikultural na produkto at ang kakulangan ng ayuda. Kinausap ng LGU ang mga drayber ng mga inarkilang jeep na huwag silang makibahagi sa kahit anumang aktibidad na inilulunsad ng mga “tagasuporta ng Makabayan”.

Maging sa pagpunta nina Leni at Kiko dito sa La Union noong April 12 ay pinigilan ng LGU ng Naguilian ang mga delegado ng Mamat-ing Norte. Dahil nag-abang ang mga kagawad ng barangay sa inarkilang jeep, natakot ang mga delegado at hindi na tumuloy sa pagpunta sa .

Ang mga harasment na ito sa TIMUN ay karugtong sa serye ng panggigipit na isinasagawa ng RTF-ELCAC magmula pa noong nakaraang mga taon. Dati nang pinag-iinitan ang TIMUN dahil ito umano ay suporter ng NPA. Ngunit, kilala ng mamamayan ang TIMUN bilang isang lehitimong progresibong organisasyon na tumitindig at ipinaglalaban ang kapakanan ng masang anakpawis sa munisipyo.

Sa ilalim ng Anti-Terror Law at programa ng NTF-ELCAC, nahihikayat ang mga LGU na gipitin at ipahamak ang kanyang mamamayan na nagsusulong lamang ng kanilang kolektibong interes. Sumasakay pa ang mismong LGU ng Naguilian sa mga paratang ng administrasyong Duterte hinggil sa Makabayan bloc. May kalayaan ang kahit sinong indibidwal at organisasyon na magpakita ng kanyang suporta para sa mga entidad na tunay na naglilingkod sa kapakanan ng mamamayan.

Mariing kinukundena ng TIMUN ang mga atakeng ito. Patuloy na ipinananawagan ng organisasyon ang pagbabasura ng Anti-Terrow Law at pagbuwag sa NTF-ELCAC. Sa darating na , malinaw ang suporta ng TIMUN para sa mga kandidatong bitbit ang layuning wakasan ang red-tagging at harasment at itaguyod ang demokratikong karapatan ng mamamayan sa pagpapahayag.
