𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓!💡🛠️🍞
Through the initiative and strong leadership of Municipal Mayor Marie Angelie Vargas, the Local Government Unit of Abulug, through the Community Training and Employment Coordinator (CTEC) Office, successfully conducted a Community-Based Training on Bread Making, Basic Welding, and Basic Electrical House Wiring on May 5–7, 2026, in collaboration with Aparri Polytechnic Institute.
The training was held at the Abulug Skills Training and Assessment Center (ASTAC) and gathered participants from various barangays of Abulug for hands-on learning activities aimed at enhancing their technical and vocational competencies.
Participants of the Bread Making training, organized through the efforts of the Public Employment Services Office (PESO), were composed of different associations who eagerly took part in the activity to gain practical knowledge and skills that may help create opportunities for livelihood and entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, participants in the Basic Welding and Basic Electrical House Wiring trainings were provided with valuable practical experience and technical knowledge that can help improve their employability and skills readiness.
This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of LGU-Abulug in promoting inclusive growth, community empowerment, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for every Abulugeño through accessible and quality skills development programs.
