Please be advised that the BPSU will conduct its university-wide health, safety, and maintenance activities from 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑 𝐭𝐨 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, as part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, healthy, and conducive learning and working environment for students, faculty, and staff.

During this scheduled period, the university will carry out comprehensive disinfection and fogging, as well as routine maintenance and facility inspections across all campuses to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness. These measures will further strengthen the university's preventive health and safety protocols while preserving the integrity and functionality of its facilities.

Throughout these activities,𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 to guarantee the continuous delivery of administrative services. The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs will issue guidelines on class delivery modes to direct faculty members and students.

Additionally, essential frontline offices will remain operational on-site to sustain key functions and provide necessary assistance. For any health-related concerns, the University Health Services Unit will remain available to accommodate teleconsultations.

REDISCOVERED PLANT SPECIES IN MASUNGI

Isang Exacum loheri (H. Hara) Klack. plant species, na huli pang naitala noong 1890s, ang muling nadiskubre sa bahagi ng limestone forests ng Masungi Georeserve.

Ito ang unang verified record ng naturang plant species sa loob ng 130 taon, kasunod ng orihinal na koleksyon nito mula sa Swiss botanist na si August Loher noong 1895.

Nadiskubre ang naturang halaman habang nagsasagawa ng malacological (snail) reconnaissance study sa "600 Steps" area ng Masungi sa Baras at Tanay sa probinsya ng Rizal.

Tirahan ang Masungi ng "only known living population" ng E. Loheri, ayon sa researchers na sina Jayson Mansibang, Lawrence Jacob Alterado, Aaron Gabriel Espinosa, at Erwin Blancaflor.
