The Municipal Government of Aborlan, in partnership with the DILG, together with the People’s Council Executive Officers, is participating in the Regional Local People’s Council Forum via Zoom today, November 27, at 8:00 in the morning. The session is being hosted at the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) Conference Room as part of the continuing efforts to strengthen participatory governance and empower CSO engagement.

The Municipal Government of Aborlan is conducting the Civil Society Organization (CSO) Capacity Development Program for Local Special Bodies—specifically the Local School Board, Local Health Board, and the Municipal Development Council—today, November 21, 2025, at the GAD Conference Room, starting at 8:00 o’clock in the morning.

This activity aims to enhance the capacities of CSO representatives in local special bodies, strengthening their roles in participatory governance, informed decision-making, and responsive public service delivery, in full support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lito O. Tito.

CSO Executive Meeting on the Approval of Internal Rules

The Civil Society Organization (CSO) Executive Committee is currently convening at the MPDO Conference Room to deliberate and approve the Internal Rules. The meeting is actively attended by CSO officers, reflecting their dedication to strengthening the organization’s governance and ensuring effective implementation of its policies and procedure.

📌 CSO Consultative Meeting with Governor Amy R. Alvarez

Dumalo ang Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) na kinatawan nina Ms. Venus Liao, Development Management Officer II, at Ms. Jofher Corpuz, Administrative Aide IV, sa Civil Society Organization (CSO) Consultative Meeting kasama si Governor Amy R. Alvarez at Mr. Eduardo Modesto V. Rodriguez, Provincial CSO Desk Officer, sa pakikipagtulungan ng Provincial CSO Desk Office Development Program.

✅ Layunin ng pagpupulong na ito na palakasin ang participatory governance sa pamamagitan ng accreditation ng mga municipal CSOs sa antas ng probinsya, upang masiguro na ang kanilang mga boses ay naririnig at nabibigyang-pansin sa pagbuo ng mga polisiya at paggawa ng mahahalagang desisyon. Pinalalakas din nito ang ugnayan at koordinasyon sa pagitan ng Municipal at Provincial CSO Desk Offices upang isulong ang mas inklusibo, tapat, at makataong pamamahala.

👥 Sa Bayan ng Aborlan, mayroon nang 90 accredited Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), at 14 sa mga ito ang aktibong kinatawan sa Municipal Development Council (MDC) — nagbibigay daan upang sila ay makabahagi sa pagpaplano at pagpapatupad ng mga programang pangkaunlaran sa bayan.

🌟 Ang mga CSO na ito ay may mahalagang papel sa pagsusulong ng participatory at inclusive development. Sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na CSO accreditation process, magkakaroon din sila ng pagkakataong maging kinatawan ng Aborlan sa Provincial Development Council (PDC) at Provincial Local Special Bodies (LSB) — upang matiyak na naririnig at kinakatawan ang tinig ng Aborlan sa antas ng probinsya.

🤝 Sama-sama nating isinusulong ang inklusibo at participatory governance — kung saan bawat sektor ay may kapangyarihan, at bawat boses ay may halaga.
