[03/12-13/2026] The conduct of Skills Training for TUPAD Beneficiaries from Barangay Sagpangan and Barangay Isaub was successfully held, equipping participants with additional knowledge and practical skills on Organic Farming to support their livelihoods. The activity was complemented with the turnover of seeds, made possible through the assistance of the Municipal Agriculture Office, promoting backyard gardening and food sustainability in the community.

Special thanks for the technical assistance from the Municipal Agriculture Office through Ms. Rona Baron and Mr. John Solatorio, as well as Mr. Matt Peneyra from the Provincial Agriculture Office. We also extend our appreciation to the Barangay Officials of Sagpangan and Isaub for their support and cooperation in making this activity possible. 🌾🌿

UPDATED WORK SCHEDULE | LGU ABORLAN

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Office of the President, the Local Government Unit of Aborlan will implement a 4-Day Work Week, effective March 9, 2026.

Office transactions will be conducted Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Please be advised that essential services (Health and Emergency response) will continue to operate without interruption to ensure continuous delivery of public service. If necessary, some employees may still be required to report for work to ensure that government services remain accessible to the public.

The public is advised to plan and make the necessary adjustments in their transactions with LGU offices in accordance with the new schedule.

[03/09/2026] Career Guidance Session with Grade 10 Students of Aborlan National High School to support students in identifying their interests, strengths, and possible career paths as they prepare for Senior High School.

[03/07/2026] TUPAD Orientation successfully conducted for Aborlan Batch 3 beneficiaries from Cabigaan, Iraan, Isaub, and Sagpangan at the Municipal Covered Court.

A total of 130 beneficiaries attended the activity, where the DOLE TUPAD Coordinators, with the assistance of the PESO Aborlan staff, discussed the guidelines for the implementation of the TUPAD program, work program, and other important reminders to ensure the smooth conduct of the project.

This orientation aims to properly inform beneficiaries about their roles, responsibilities, and the program procedures before the start of their community work under the TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) program. 💼🤝
