NOTICE TO AUCTION

You are hereby invited to quote your price of approximately Three Thousand (3,000) kilograms of Copra (Resikada) at WPU Main, Coconut Project, San Juan Aborlan, Palawan. The Western Philippines University will sell to the highest auctioneer under the following terms & conditions:

1. Auctioneer must be Registered Copra Trader; with updated Business or Mayor’s Permit and DTI Registration;

2. This will be opened on December 16,2025 at WPU Main Campus, Administration Building – Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (Administrative Division) at 10:00 AM.

3. The auctioneer shall visit the field or inspect the copra warehouse before the start of the auction;

4. Auction must be accompanied with the Auctioneer’s Bond in the form of cash or manager’s check equivalent to 10% of the total amount of Auction; (3,000 kgs. x Php 60.00/kg x 10% = Php 18,000.00).

5. Interested auctioneers are requested to be present at the time of auction opening with complete requirements listed above both original and photocopy;

6. Notice of Award will be awarded to the highest auctioneer;

7. The Copra (Resikada) must be withdrawn from WPU Warehouse San Juan Aborlan, Palawan within three (3) days after the award is served. Storage fee of 2% per day of the value of the item if not withdrawn after the three (3) days period will be imposed;

8. Payment should be on Cash and Carry basis;

9. WPU establish a floor price of Php 60.00 per kilogram, the auctioneer must quote their price at least higher but not lower than the established floor price;

10. The offered price shall be written on this form and sealed before the start of the auction;

11. Claims, protests or complaints, if any, shall be filed within 24 hours after the auction has opened to be attached with Php 500.00 protest fee. Protests or complaints filed after the time frame will not be entertained;

12. Weighing should be conducted at WPU Warehouse San Juan Aborlan, Palawan using the weighing scale of the University;

13. In case of unjustifiable refusal or failure of the winning auctioneer to accept the award price within three (3) days from the receipt of the official Notice of Award, the auctioneer’s bond posted shall be forfeited in favor of the Government; and

14. WPU reserves the right to reject any or all auction, waive any defect therein and to accept any such auction as may be advantageous to WPU.

1. Auctioneer must be Registered Rubber Trader; with updated Business or Mayor’s Permit and DTI Registration;

2. This will be opened on December 16,2025 at WPU Main Campus, Administration Building – Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (Administrative Division) at 8:30 AM.

3. The auctioneer shall visit the field or inspect the harvested rubber before the start of the auction;

4. Auction must be accompanied with the Auctioneer’s Bond in the form of cash or manager’s check equivalent to 10% of the total amount of Auction; (5,000 kgs. x Php 40.00/kg x 10% = Php 20,000.00).

5. Interested auctioneers are requested to be present at the time of auction opening with complete requirements listed above both original and photocopy;

6. Notice of Award will be awarded to the highest auctioneer;

7. The rubber must be withdrawn from WPU Rubber Production Project in Bgy. Quinlogan, Quezon, Palawan within three (3) days after the award is served. Storage fee of 2% per day of the value of the item if not withdrawn after the three (3) days period will be imposed;

Please be formally advised of a necessary adjustment to the schedule for the upcoming "KASIYAHAN SA WPU 2025" event.

The new schedule dates are December 12–19, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM nightly. Each night will be hosted by a different College Student Organization.

Tickets will be available for purchase before December 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Five (5) consolation prizes and one (1) major prize will be drawn each night.

NOTE: All attendees must present their tickets upon entry each night.

WPU Office of Business Affairs are inviting interested auctioneers to quote your price of approximately 10 heads fatteners (80-100kg/head) at WPU Main Piggery Project in San Juan, Aborlan, Palawan. The Western Philippines University will sell to the highest auctioneer under the following terms & conditions:

1. Auctioneer must be Registered Swine Buyer; with updated Business or Mayor's Permit and DTI Registration;

2. This will be opened on August 12, 2025 at WPU Main Campus, Administration Building - Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (Administrative Division) at 10:00 AM.

3. The auctioneer shall visit the field or inspect the piggery project before the start of the auction;

4. Auction must be accompanied with the Auctioneer's Bond in the form of cash or manager's check equivalent to 10% of the total amount of Auction; (800 kg x Php 220.00/kg x 10% = Php 17,600.00).

5. Interested auctioneers are requested to be present at the time of auction opening with complete requirements listed above both original and photocopy;

6. Notice of Award will be awarded to the highest auctioneer;

July 28, 2025: Awarding of Carabaos to the 55th Batch Graduates of WPU – College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Sciences

Acknowledgment to Mr. Bomber Badilla for facilitating the release of carabao from the WPU carabao project.
