𝟐𝟐 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐃𝐓𝐈) 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 successfully conducted its 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 via Zoom.

The activity Assessed First Quarter Accomplishments for CY 2026, reviewed program implementation, identified gaps, and set priority actions for the next quarter. Updates on consumer protection and advocacy, were also discussed to strengthen fair trade and public awareness.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Palawan Provincial Office conducted regular price monitoring in major supermarkets, grocery stores, hardwares and leading stores in Puerto Princesa City and Various Municipalities in the Province of Palawan.

This activity was carried out in response to public concerns on fuel price increases brought about by ongoing international conflicts. Results showed that prices of basic necessities and prime commodities remain generally stable, with sufficient supply in the establishments visited.

DTI Palawan continues its commitment to protect consumers, ensure compliance with price regulations, and uphold the rights and welfare of the consuming public.
