“I arrived to the Awakening The Sacred Heart Retreat feeling heavy, lost, and broken. Rachel and Roberto provided a peaceful and safe place that I could open up and be completely honest about myself and painful events from my childhood.

There was a unique mix of silent days, yoga, group activities, and outings. It was so life changing taking my first overseas trip to Peru and being surrounded by the Andes Mountains and genuine people.

As each day progressed I could feel my heart opening up more with clarity and confidence in who I truly am. It was powerful to be in silence and have the time to do plenty of self inquiry and just focus on myself.

S T O P + smell the roses. 🌹

Life gets busy. There's the to-do list that never seems to get shorter, and sometimes the days fly by so quickly we find ourselves approaching the end of yet another year wondering where the time went.

It's times like this - when we realize how precious each moment is - that we should hit the pause button in our life and just stop for a minute. Stop whatever you're doing and just be.

You can just sit and breathe and watch the thoughts in your mind float by. You can indulge in the stillness and silence that fills all the spaces between the sounds and activities happening around you. Whatever you (don't) do may be just the breath of fresh air you need to bring you into right now where you can joyfully participate in your life...and down the road you won't be wondering where the time went, because you were there for every minute of it. ♡

Yes, suffering exisits. There are a variety of situations that have taken place or are currently happening which are painful, confusing or heavy.

We're not suggesting one turn away from these things, deny their existance, repress them or "stay positive" about them. What we're inviting you to consider and contemplate is this:

When we say things like, "Love is all there is" what we're pointing towards is that an awake and empowered individual takes responsibility for their experience, and therefore sees and understands that all occurrences are divine because every single thing is a unique aspect of God. And God is Love. So therefore, Love is all there is, because ALL is an divine reflection and aspect of God.

We understand this can be a sensitive and tricky topic to navigate. So we welcome any comments, questions or feedback you may have, and we look forward to hearing from you. :)
