Event: Visits by Lima Consular Personnel to Cusco on June 10-11, 2026 and June 24-25, 2026
Consular personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Lima will visit Cusco on June 10-11, 2026 and June 24-25, 2026. U.S. citizens in Cusco may request appointments for the following services: passport renewals, registering birth abroad to U.S. citizen parent(s), and notarial services. A limited number of appointments will be offered to individuals who submit complete requests by e-mail as outlined below. Additional details, such as time and location in Cusco, will be provided once appointments are confirmed.
Services Available:
Passport Application: Passport appointments will be available for adults and minors. As appointments are limited; adults eligible for mail-in application services are encouraged to use the mail-in passport renewal program.
To request an appointment, send the following documents to [email protected] with the subject “Passport Application CUSCO” and your name:
· DS-11 or DS-82 Form, filled out electronically (with barcode)
· Scanned copy of current U.S. Passport
Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA): CRBA appointments will be available to document U.S. citizenship of a child born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents.
To request a CRBA appointment, follow these steps:
1. Create a MyTravelGov https://mytravel.state.gov/account. Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_8DmVyZruY for assistance.
2. Access eCRBA and submit your application online.
3. Submit payment ($100) on Pay.gov. This is the only way to pay for these services. We cannot take cash or credit card payments.
4. Send us an email to [email protected] including the subject “eCRBA Appointment Request CUSCO” and the case number.
Once your e-mail with the eCRBA case number is received, the case will be reviewed and you will be contacted by email to schedule an appointment for an interview with the Consular Officer in Cusco. The presence of the parents and the child/children is required on the day of the appointment.

To request a notarial appointment please send us an email to [email protected] including the subject “Notarial appointment CUSCO” and your name.
