Vetiver Panamá S.A. Marietta discovered Vetiver grass in 2009 when nearly 1 hectare of her property slipped away, just several hundred meters from her house.

The home of Vetiver Panama is located up in the mountains of Chiriqui, in a beautiful and meditative location alongside the Landis Private Reserve, a place full of positive energy and good vibes. This special place is run by the dedicated owner, Marietta Isabel
Landis and her faithful team of co-finca operators, friends, and partners in the common mission of wildlife conservation, land and water

rehabilitation, creative creation, sharing, growing, learning, giving and recieving. Some local advice on this miracle plant sent her searching for answers, and lead her to discover The Vetiver Network International, and its Costa Rica representative, Yorlene Cruz. After some earthworks to reform the massive landslide, with the help of Yorleny for the design and planting technical aspects, the massive landslip was rehabilited and stabilized using vetiver grass. Marietta's once ominous landslide is now a beautiful feature on her estate, but in addition, lead Marietta to learn more and fall in love with all the different benefits of vetiver. Finca Isabel is now a sanctuary of
Vetiver, where it is appreciated for its raw beauty, soil and water conservation capabilities, wonderful smelling roots, handicrafts, mulching benefits, and more.. Along with dear friends and colleagues, Marietta has recently opened the first company in Panama specializing in many different services offered with vetiver grass. This company is Vetiver Panama S.A. Marietta's partners in this mission seems to be a growing list, but in its grassroots beginning includes Yorlene Cruz, Jonathan Barcant, Maria Dominguez and Heriberto Montenegro
