Department of Internal Affairs We serve and connect people, communities and government, to help make NZ better for New Zealanders.

We use social media to share the latest information and updates from the Department. Our followers can expect to receive regular updates covering some or all of the following:

-Information about our products, services and activities, which includes content from Archives NZ, National Library of New Zea

land and other Government Departments.

- We may follow/like organisations and individuals that are relevant to our organisation. This does not imply endorsement or guarantee the accuracy of their information. Posts made by others to our social media channels are the responsibility of that person or organisation. They don't necessarily reflect the opinions or policy of the Department. Moderation:

2) In the interest of maintaining a safe space for all New Zealanders, harmful content will be hidden or removed. This includes misinformation, swearing, hate speech, trolling and spam. If harmful content is repeatedly posted, then you may be banned or blocked.

Te Puna in lights. Our Tiakiwai Conference Centre team worked with a commercial client to light the iconic National Library building in Wellington whero (red) last night.
This was a one-off, client-funded trial to explore the potential in lighting up Te Puna and the results were striking.
