Today, we are joined by 38 Sentro Rizal sites around the world in one shared cultural moment. From different countries, cities, and communities, Filipinos come together through a simple question:

“𝐾𝑢𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎 𝑛𝑎 𝑘𝑎𝑦𝑜 𝑑'𝑦𝑎𝑛?”

As we celebrate Dr. Jose Rizal's 165th Birth Anniversary today, and in anticipation of the 15th Anniversary of Sentro Rizal, we share glimpses of Filipino life, identity, and connection across borders.

The Philippine Embassy is honored to support the Auckland Choral Ensemble ’s first concert, 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚: 𝐀 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞. This special event will take place on Saturday, 22 August 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Presbyterian Church of St. Luke, located at 130 Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland 1050.

𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚: 𝐀 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 is a sincere tribute to the enduring relationship between the Philippines and New Zealand, commemorating 60 years of diplomatic ties established on 6 July 1966.

Through music, Pamana pays homage to our shared history, celebrates the richness of cultural heritage, and highlights the profound connections that have evolved over generations. This concert serves not only as a remembrance of our origins but also as a hopeful testament to unity, friendship, and a future built together by both nations.
