🐾 Need affordable vet care for your pet? The Community Vet Project will soon be offering walk-in clinics at Welcome Bay Community Centre and Merivale Community Centre, helping local whānau access essential veterinary care for their pets.

🍳 A quick kitchen reminder

Please avoid pouring fats, oils, or grease down your sink or drain. As they cool, they harden and can build up inside pipes, causing blockages and expensive plumbing issues.

If a blockage is identified as coming from oils, fats or grease, tenants will be charged for unblocking.

Instead:
✔️ Let oils and grease cool
✔️ Pour into a container or wipe with a paper towel
✔️ Place in the rubbish

Thank you for helping keep drains flowing smoothly for everyone.

The Gate Pā Community Centre Trust is seeking feedback to help shape their new Community Centre, currently under construction on Anzac Road, Tauranga.

The trust has launched a survey to better understand the challenges facing Gate Pā residents, and to gather ideas, hopes and offers of support for the new centre. If you live, work or spend time in Gate Pā, please consider taking a few minutes to share your thoughts.

🌟 May Tenant of the Month 🌟

This month, we are proud to celebrate Daniel from Wellington. Daniel was nominated by his Tenancy Relationship Manager, Lucy, for the exceptional pride he takes in maintaining a beautiful and well-cared-for home.

Daniel is a very talented artist from Lower Hutt, with his work featured in galleries and competitions, and he has entered the IHC Art Awards multiple times over the years, continuing to inspire us with his vibrant and expressive artwork. Pictured are some of his previous entries.

A special acknowledgement also goes to Dain, Daniel’s Support Worker, who supports him day-to-day. The strong friendship between them has had a positive impact on Daniel’s life.

Congratulations Daniel, we are very proud to name you our May Tenant of the Month!
