Kumeū & Huapai! This Saturday bring the kids down to Huapai Hub for a day of free fun, 12pm-3pm!

Meet your neighbours and enjoy a relaxed day of family-friendly activities, BBQ, games, and art at the Huapai Hub.

Ever played Hungerball? It’s fast, addictive, and unlike anything you’ve tried before – football, hockey, and more, all inside a six-goal inflatable arena!
Play 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 where every player defends their own goal while trying to score on everyone else. Perfect for ages 5+, all abilities welcome – come solo, with friends, or bring the whole whānau. Trained facilitators will make sure everyone gets involved.
Everything provided – just show up and play!

** JUNK PLAY – Loose Parts**
Let imaginations run wild at our Junk Play pop-up playground! Kids and families are invited to connect, create, and build using repurposed materials – turning everyday junk into something amazing.
A unique, hands-on play experience that encourages invention, discovery, and a love of reduce, reuse & recycle. All ages welcome!

What could we make happen together in Snells Beach?
At our recent interactive community hui on May 26, Snells locals shared ideas about young people, connection, community spaces, the future of the town centre, and ways to strengthen community life.

Project ideas:
We know not everyone could be there - so if you have an idea that could help make Snells Beach an even better place to live, we'd love to hear from you.
Projects can be big or small. They might bring people together, support young people, create community spaces, improve local connections, or help strengthen neighbourhood life.
