We hope everyone has been enjoying the long weekend and making the most of the beautiful weather. Here are a few snapshots from our ANZAC 2026 commemorations - a time that was both emotional and grounding as we came together to remember our heroes and honour their sacrifices. 🪖

A heartfelt thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to make these moments possible, to our dignitaries and honourable speakers for guiding us through such a meaningful commemoration, and to all our service personnel in uniform - we honour and appreciate you. 🙏🏼

To our rangatahi and tamariki who stepped forward with pride and purpose, you are the strength that will carry our community into the future. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa 🙌🏽

With deep gratitude, we acknowledge our incredible volunteers who have come together to prepare for this very important ANZAC Parade and ceremony - a time to honour, remember, and stand united as a community for all those who served and sacrificed.

We look forward to seeing our community gather at 11am along Te Ara Raukura, as we pay our respects together. The march will begin promptly at 11.30am from the McDonald’s end.

Lest we forget.

As the flag rises in Wainuiomata, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who came before us.

Parade commences 11:30am - Te Ara Raukura (gather along footpath)
