The Waimangaroa Fire Cadets latest project was building nesting boxes for our native Ruru. Using plans from Wingspan, the cadets did an amazing job bringing the project to life. We're incredibly proud of their efforts to create safe homes for these special birds and contribute to local conservation. 🦉💚

Tonight was Honours Night for the brigade. This is a night where we celebrate achievements from the past year, and a time for us to socialise as a brigade.

Tonight’s awards were presented by CFO Lynn Brooks and SO Carmen Greenland

We have been made aware that due to the current outage with One NZ, if you are with One NZ calls to 111 may not go through.

If you need to call 111 please use a phone on another network, or, if that’s not possible, go to our fire station and use the fire alarm switch by the door and wait there for someone to arrive.
