Casino night is only 3 weeks away, get your tickets now, this is going to be a great night supporting our boys running up the Skytower. There's going to be lots of raffles and live auctions on the night as well. We may even auction off a Fireman or two. So come and try your luck at blackjack, roulette or poker. Well little old Waihi town did pretty good at the awards night on Saturday. We were stoked to take out first place in the small team category for fundraising with just over 20k raised for Leukaemia. So thank you to everyone that donated and supported us during this time. This award isn't just for us, it's for all of you as well.

Also a big shout out to OceanaGold Waihi mines rescue who also took out second place in the medium team category with over 30k raised.

So well done Waihi. We are all looking forward to having another go next year.

What a awsome day/night we had on Saturday, first of all thank you so much to everyone that come along and supported us, made donations, brought raffles and our very generous auction winners, with your help we managed to raise just over $11k which will go a long way to help those suffering from Leukaemia.

We all had a blast showing everyone around the station and doing some demonstrations during the day and then the night was filled with laughs and good times during the quiz, it was a huge weekend but definitely worth it.

Also a huge thanks to the whole Waihi Fire Brigade and your families for all your hard work leading up to and on the day.
