Kua eke mai te rōpū o BCAFN ki Aotearoa, ā, i pōhiritia rātou ki runga o Whareroa Marae i Tauranga Moana i tēnei ata.

A delegation from the British Columbia Assembly of First Nations (BCAFN) have been welcomed onto Whareroa Marae in Tauranga this morning to begin their week-long programme hosted by the Federation of Māori Authorities (FOMA), focused on strengthening relationships between First Nations and Māori leaders while exploring Indigenous economic development, governance, innovation, and investment opportunities.

Their visit comes ahead of the 2026 FOMA Economic Forum at Te Puia, Rotorua this Friday, where leaders from across Aotearoa and Canada will come together to share ideas, build connections, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

We look forward to hosting our guests & continuing to build upon the strong relationship between FOMA & BCAFN.
