Kia ora whanau,
We are very pleased to announce that a new variable speed zone will be established at Tatuanui School sometime between the 7th and 17th April, so it will be in operation at the commencement of Term 2.
The new restrictions will operate during term time only, at all when the school is open for instruction (not on Teacher Only Days), as follows:
Morning: Activated at 8:10am until 9:15am
Afternoon: Activated at 2:30pm until 3:30pm
Any other designated, specific, time frames, as determined by the school, in the event of exceptional or event-specific circumstances
During the above times of operation the speed limit will be a staggered from 70km/h to 60km/h. These speed limits were dictated to us by the NZ Transport Agency.
