Our Year 7 and 8's enjoyed a fun day out at the Rippa tournament in Hawera on Tuesday. Both teams did really well and made the playoffs. A big thanks to Tracy and Mike O'Sullivan, and Nicola Johnston for coaching the teams on the day.

2026 Out of Zone Places
Applications for out of zone places are now being invited for those children who will become eligible for enrolment during Term 3. The deadline for receipt of applications for out of zone places is 12 June. If the number of applications exceeds the number of spaces available, then a ballot for out of zone places will be held on 16 June. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot on the 19 June. The Board of Toko School has determined they have 8 places across the school - Year 1 - 4 and Year 7 - 8. If you live in the home zone and have not yet signalled your intention to enrol your child later this year, please contact the school office to assist us to plan appropriately.
Application forms can be found on our school website: https://www.toko.school.nz/parent-information/enrolment-scheme/

30 QUILTS FOR 30 YEARS
2026 sees Mrs Mason having worked for our school for 30 years. Mrs Mason is an amazing quilter and decided that she would like to donate 30 quilts to 30 children to commerate her service to our school. We had a special assembly on the tennis courts last week where her 30 quilts were on display. Names were randomly selected and children were able to select a quilt of their choice. Mrs Oliver was the lucky staff member selected. What a kind gesture for our tamariki! And how lucky are we to still have Mrs Mason on our team after all this time!!
