We had a fantastic day at the Lower Waipā Winter Champs last Friday. We are still waiting on the official results, but we know that the majority of our teams finished in the top three, and most importantly, the students had a great time competing and representing our school. Awesome work, Pirongia School!

A huge thank you to Ngāhinapōuri School for hosting the event, the local schools that organised and ran each sporting code, and our amazing parents and grandparents who volunteered their time to coach and manage teams. Your support helped make the day such a success. 👏🏆

ANZAC Day 2026 | The Pirongia community gathered this morning for a beautiful dawn ceremony outside the Pirongia War Memorial Hall. Student councillors, Alia and Lachie, had the honour of representing Pirongia School by reading The Baptism of Fire. The Pirongia School ANZAC wreath was laid with pride, in tribute to those who served. "We will remember them".
