Education is personally a major focus for me and I strongly believe that it’s a key to many social challenges.

Few weeks ago I had the privilege to visit Terrace End school and learn closely about some of the amazing work Principal Warrick and his team are doing for our next generation. Thank you so much for the invitation and showing me your work.

It’s been a busy week so far with many meetings attending. Some of the highlights were:
-Bunnythorpe Residents Public meeting,
-Attending a very informative BA5 session at the Art Gallery

However my interactions with three different couples at my local PakNSave stood out (yes I shop at PakNSave).
Those people came up to me and introduced themselves, applauded me for standing up for this job and doing the hard yards.

Raw and real conversations like this are always welcome and I certainly enjoy meeting people. If you like to catch up, feel free to drop me a line.

Grateful to High Commissioner Ms Muanpuii Saiawi for her visit to Palmerston North yesterday. HC spent time interacting with the community and doing SEWA at Gurudawara Shri Fateh Sahib before another community leaders meeting in the afternoon. Privileged to do my bit for the community. We look forward to welcoming her back again.

Despite global volatility, our economic plan is working.
Solid growth. 220,000 more jobs. And wages rising faster than prices – the key to making life more affordable.
We can’t tax, borrow and spend our way to a brighter future.
By stopping wasteful spending, we’re reducing borrowing, keeping taxes low and investing in what matters most: roads, police, schools and healthcare.
This Budget is about responsible economic management to secure New Zealand’s future.
It’s part of National’s plan to fix the basics and build the future.

The Women's Lifestyle Expo at Palmerston North was wonderful. I joined my colleague Ankit Bansal Palmerston North, the candidate for Palmerston North and we had some excellent engagement with those in attendance.
