This week is Volunteer Awareness Week, some of the committee went along to an event at The Pavillion in Omokoroa this morning and witnessed Trish Clokie being recognised for her valued contribution on the Settlers Hall Committee. Trish is a very humble quiet achiever and generous giver of her time to the committee, Trish willingly takes on tasks and gives her all, as do all of the committee. We are blessed to have such giving people in our community . Where would we be without volunteers. Thank you one and all. Those present, Bernie, Cheryl, Trish and Ellen.

Thank you to our Omokoroa Hall users, our neighbours at Playcentre and the Toy Library for your patience and understanding while the parking and use of the halls were disrupted during the scaffolding and painting of the large hall roof and the exterior of both halls. We are so happy with the result and hope that you will be too.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and good things for the New Year we look forward to welcoming you all back.

From tomorrow Wednesday the 10th December the Settlers Hall Carpark will be closed while the repainting of the Halls takes place. We have let all Hall users know in advance, the Fruit Stall girls have been told also so will need to find somewhere else to set up and let the community know as they are not associated with the Settlers Halls or committee. The painting should be completed in time for the Omokoroa Market on Saturday the 20th December. Thank you for your co- operation. Settlers Halls Committee.

Our large hall measures 20m by 12m and can accommodate 250 guests. Facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen, microwave, warming cabinets, crockery, cutlery, steriliser and a PA system. Separate entrance lobby with two toilets.
