Finished with a fantastic third equal in Central Otago🎉. With a lot of Year 5’s in the team it looks promising for another try at it next year.

Congratulations to Daisy and Oakley who were nominated as our sportspeople of the day for a great attitude.

Our Year 5-6 Rippa Team is away in Wānaka today competing in the Central Otago competition. They started the day with two close losses, then two good wins. They are now playing off for third place overall. What a great effort from our little school up against the ‘big boys’. 🎉

Thanks to James, Ellen and Kelsey for getting them there and doing the hard work.

Thank you for supporting Pink Shirt Day 2026. The senior students organised activities and had crazy hair salons, nail salon, face painting, colouring and icing cup cakes. Massive thanks to Stacey, Nat, Claire, Amberlee and Kate for supplying the cupcakes for all our students. They were a hit!

Inspired by the medieval castles Rangi glass are creating, Awa students decided to make their own castles using maths equipment. Lots of robust discussion and problem solving happening.
