ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT PERSON (Fixed-Term)

Te Kura o Te Whanau a Apanui have an opportunity for an administration support person to join our diverse team.

We are seeking a positive and organized team player who is also proactive and flexible to cope with regular interruptions, who can juggle and reassess priorities, whilst maintaining a smile, a welcoming presence and a good sense of humour. You are also self-managing and easy-going, no task is too big or too small, you take everything in your stride and get things done effectively and efficiently.

In this role you will be responsible of enrolling and unenrolling students in SMS, manage attendance, purchasing of resources, ordering and selling of uniforms and other administration duties as required to ensure the smooth running of our establishment.

The candidate will specifically have:

-Intermediate to Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

-Excellent attention to detail and experience supporting a team in an administrative capacity

-Knowledge of School Management systems - KAMAR

-Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

-A Full drivers license

-Full First Aid Certificate

-Understanding of Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga is a MUST

Tēnā koutou e Te whanau,

In light of the Covid—19 Level 2 being implemented across the motu and Tamaki moving into Level 3 which will be in place for the next 7 days, we have decided to postpone our noho Marae at Wairuru Marae to a later date.

Later date TBC.

From tomorrow on it will be a normal schooling week under Level 2 Covid-19 regulations.

- All people coming into the school must sign the register for contact tracing.
- Hand stations will be set up in each classroom space with hand sanitizer
- disinfectant will be made available for wiping surfaces down.

Please get this message out to our whanau and our kids.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Tēnā koutou e Te whanau,

As per the announcement of the Prime Minister tonight, Sunday 14 February, Tamaki Makaurau will be moving to Level 3 as of 11.59pm tonight till 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February.

We in Te Whanau a Apanui as well as the rest of NZ will be moving to Level 2.

You will find the information for Level 2 on the Covid-19 page.

As a Kura, we will continue to practice:

- hand hygiene
- all visitors must report to the office before entering the school for contact tracing
- all visitors will be guided to where they need to go by a staff member

There will be one entrance into the Kura which is the main gate to the office.

Surfaces will be wiped , disinfected and sanitized three times a day.

We are due to remain in Level 2 until Wednesday 17 February, 11.59pm.
