Congrats Mahurangi College Sport 🙌

HPC hosted Mahurangi College in our annual Sports Exchange this week, a sporting tradition now 63 years old, built on decades of competition, friendship and respect between our two schools.
A key feature of the exchange is the opportunity for students to be billeted with host families, a rare experience these days that adds real value and strengthens connections beyond the field of play.

This year’s exchange saw outstanding sportsmanship across all fixtures, with Mahurangi winning 7 of the 9 games to retain the Mahuraki Trophy for another year.
Off the field, the exchange also brought everyone together for a shared dinner for around 300 students, coaches and managers, adding another highlight to the exchange.

A sincere thank you to all coaches, managers and officials for their time, effort and support, and a special acknowledgement to the families who hosted billets and made this experience possible.
Well done to all students who took part in another memorable exchange.
We look forward to travelling to Mahurangi College in 2027.

Services Academy Basic Leaders Course
After a week of hard graft Rudy Tuhaka was awarded top student award.
Adam Kelly - second overall Zach Siemers - fourth overall. Jerick Quintal and Tristan Holt, narrowly missed the most improved award and were joint runners up.

The HPC Services Academy as a whole, conducted themselves well and the NZDF staff went out of their way to acknowledge how polite, hardworking and dedicated our students were. They also noted the clear camaraderie amongst our students.

We are very proud of them all. They represent HPC and the Academy very well!

Year 12/13 Employment and Services Academy students attended the Tahatū Careers Expo in Auckland today. They got to hop in a police car, score maximum points on the jump test and they asked some awesome questions to the panel in the "Inspiring the Future" session.

You can now set up recurring payments directly in Kindo, making it easier to stay on top of school costs.

Autopay is a simple set-and-forget way to keep regular payments ticking along, so there’s one less thing to remember during the school term. When you access your kindo app, click on your wallet at the top of the screen and follow the autopay directions.
